My name is Heaven and I am the Photographer and Founder of Aspen North. For a long time, photography was something I did behind the scenes. For nearly ten years I worked behind the scenes as a commercial photographer. I spent those years working one on one with models and creating marketing and advertisement campaigns. That work taught me the technical side of photography and also how to pay attention to very specific detail. It also showed me how deeply people connect to photographs, how they become part of memory long after the moment has passed.

Aspen North grew out of a desire to create something more personal, more raw, and more emotional. I’m drawn to genuine emotion, real love stories, and those very small details most people don’t notice. The way families laugh in genuine moments, the friendship between siblings, the way couples look at each other when they forget they’re being photographed and the entire world falls into the background. It’s those small, unplanned moments that say way more than a perfectly posed photograph ever could.
